As you will learn throughout this course, disasters can have significant impacts on ANR. Disaster management efforts can help reduce negative impacts, support those affected, and enhance disaster resilience. Effective communication before, during, and after disaster events can increase transparency and trust in times of disaster. In addition, establishing relationships with stakeholders can be critical for an effective response and recovery.
